The WeekEnd.

And it was over just like that. My weekend. I hardly had any time to myself which worries me to think that I'm right at the beginning of another week. yikes!

I spent Saturday night with one of my best friends who I hadn't seen in years. She's leaving for Canada tonight which makes my heart a little sad but with Facebook, Skype etc., what's a few thousand kilometers between friends? We spent the night dancing away to Kenyan jams and South African/Nigerian hits. Man do South Africans and Nigerians produce some good music..

After a crazy night I found my way to my room and within seconds I had to dash to the bathroom to vomit! Thank God my friend Jojo was there to hold my hair and rub my back. I have a special place in my heart for friends who take on that role while in my drunken stupor. 

That meant my Sunday was spent mostly in bed. What a waste of a good day! I did get to organise my room and paint my nails though.

  

 (does anyone out there pick at their fingers as much as I do? It's a gross/ugly habit but I can't stop!)

And I also enjoyed some afternoon sun while in bed..

Later in the evening I got to meet my friend Jojo one last time before she flew out. Miss you already!

I had originally started saving up for a trip to NYC in 2013 but it looks like Canada's the more likely destination. Sometimes Facebook and Skype just aren't enough..
