Thee Dress...

I couldn't help but put on the dress once again. The more I wear it, the more I love it.

For the couple of friends who read my blog and will be at my graduation, let's pretend you haven't seen the dress. I am still wishing that some element of surprise will be present when we finally meet. ;)

There are several adjustments that have to be made but nothing too serious. Mainly around the bust area as it needs to be pulled up/in so that I don't have to wear a bra with it.

Thee Dress was from Zebu by Annabelle Thom, in Junction Mall

Let me tell you of a frustrating story.
It was my 2nd prom in high school (my school was very special in that you could go for a total of 3 proms starting from yr11 to yr13).
I had been searching and searching for a great dress as the previous year I'd landed some hideous thing after deciding to have it tailored. Never again.
I finally found my dress and was telling a few friends about it plus the store I found it in.
The next Monday one of the girls was telling me how she'd visited the same store and had, coincidentally, found a similarly amazing dress.
It turned out to be the same one.
She refused to return it or buy another so we turned up in the same dress.
The end of my frustrating story.

Anyyyywaaaaayy,
I won't be posting any more pictures of this dress so if you were already getting tired of it - fear not. Now I just need to look for accessories for the dress. Perhaps a huge chunky necklace or bracelets.. Maasai market here I come. Or maybe I should consider adding a belt..

Decisions.. Decisions..
But at least I've found THEEEE DRESS!!

    1. Haha! Yeah that dress-replication story was tragic. You'll find a dress and it'll be beautiful, I'm sure of that! Plus you can look for one in jozi if you don't find one here :)
