This past month was a good month for the ol' blog.
I was just going through my old posts and can't believe it's been a good 10 months since I started This Is Ess. Some of the old posts make me cringe, others make me laugh out loud but all of them take me back to the exact moment when I was writing the post, and I can recall where I was and how I was feeling at the time.
Come to think of it, I reckon everyone should start blogging - it's a great way of diarizing different aspects of your life.
Speaking of which, if you run a blog - do you mind dropping a link in the comment section below? Would love to check it out and hopefully get to know some of you better.
Anyway, back to my point: October was the bomb dot com and I almost can't get it enough of her.
I was lucky enough to appear in not one but two newspapers!! The first was the Eve Gal section of the Standard which came out October 17th. I couldn't stop squealing once Wamboi Kay tweeted me with the the words: "seen it?"
Oh the Joy.
I felt so honoured to have been featured with a group of beautiful women!

About a week later I got an email from Claud who works for Mwananchi - a Tanzanian newspaper that wanted to feature my article on the 10 ways to wear the LWD in their newspaper. Since it was a Swahili newspaper, the article was translated which I thought was pretty cool! I wish my Swahili was better - I would do a few posts in Swahili every once in a while.

It's 12:27PM which makes it technically the 2nd of November but since I haven't yet gone to sleep I'm still going to wish you a Happy 1st of November! Hope this month brings you joy and success in many unimaginable ways.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to read and/or comment on my blog - I don't for one second take it for granted and I don't doubt that it's because of you that certain opportunities have presented themselves. So thank you!
