Ello lovey,
Today I had long day that involved a lot of driving and thinking and discussing and more driving. I had work today. And yes, it's a Saturday. But fear not, I still managed to make the most of my day and I'm not about to make this a negative post. Even though I'm aching to complain about the fact that I had to work on A SaturDAY. Damn.
Afterwards I passed by the shops and got three vases for a total of shs650 (great deal!) and these flowers. It's about time I added some beauty into my life.
And so they sit on the table by my bedside, next to the basket that I am yet to determine its use. They make my room a lot prettier and make me smile.
I'm currently reading an unauthorised autobiography on Oprah Winfrey by Kitty Kelley. The book's raised a lot of controversy and I understand why.
From the little I've read, Oprah has been portrayed more like some powerful icon that the people around her have come to fear and less like the warm and wise woman we watch on TV. In the book Kelley mentions some of the more controversial shows Oprah has aired over the years with the most bizarre guests. One of the shows was on sex and one of the guests was this woman who had never had an orgasm in the 18yrs of her marriage. In the same show a woman spoke of how addicted she is to sex that she once had 25 men in her bed! How big is her bed anyway?
So far the book has been rather interesting. Pick it up if you can.
