There's nothing like blazing heat, palm trees and a view of the ocean to usher in the new year..
Spent 7 days by the coast and I've got a slight tan, heat rash, mosquito bites and a forehead swimming in little pimples to prove it - all of which I could have done without. But that's a small price to pay for some beach time. I fell in love with sunsets in a very special kind of way. Don't these just melt your heart?
