Excuse my manners but I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Sharon, also known as: Shaz, Ess, Shazzy, Shazza (or whatever other word you could coin from Sharon). I'm not fussy about that.
More importantly though, I just recently completed my undergraduate degree and my graduation is just round the corner, Feb 11th to be exact!!!!!!!!!!

Excited.
I went to uni in South Africa but I'm from Kenya so my family and I are planning this exciting trip centred around my graduation!!!!! Damn I'm excited.
I do however have some heavy, serious and super important decisions to make ahead of me. Like which dress to wear. I'm completely lost and have no clue what I'm looking for. I can't believe it took me this long to start thinking of what I'll wear. Shame on me.
After searching through the internet for about an hour, I came up with a few ideas/dresses/shapes/colours that I may want to consider.
I like how the first two are simple but professional/statement sort of dresses. I definitely want to wear something feminine but also something that says "Damn right I made it, and kicked your ass at it too."
Perhaps I should think of introducing some colour?
Peacock anyone?
Or maybe something African/Kenyan inspired. That would be really cool actually but I also don't want my dress to be overwhelmed in this sense. The skirt above has some African appeal that I really like. Not keen on the slit at the front though. The dress below is just too damn loud. African inspired, but loud.
Or perhaps something classic like what the Duchess is wearing, something that I may wear repeatedly even after the graduation.
Nautical maybe? That way people can salute me when I walk by with my graduation cap and all..
I really like Jessica's dress! Not sure if it's exactly what I have in mind for my graduation but I love it anyway.
Oh Jessica. I haven't really considered wearing a long dress but Ms. Alba is just so beautiful I couldn't help putting this pic up.
This last dress is nothing like what I'm considering wearing but it's a statement dress and in as much as I want my outfit to be simple/classic/beautiful etc, I also want to make a statement.
Evidently, I'm rather lost here. A couple things are for sure though, I want something feminine but also something that's not too girly. Something that's simple but also a statement dress. Maybe even something that's got some Kenyan/African spice to it..
Decisions.. Decisions..

I love all of these!
