If I had a shilling for every time my face made a face, I would be in Zanzibar right now sipping on a strawberry margarita and living the life.
If wishes were horses:
1. Binti would realise when and how to automatically switch herself off.
I pulled her out of my camera bag only to find that I'd left her on for about a day.. It took me most of the day to get her to work like a normal camera again. Gaaah! The torture.
2. I would have an entire drawer full of black socks..
Black socks are pretty much the ultimate possession in my house.
3. I would be in Lamu right now..
..enjoying the warmth of the sun and reading myself into a sweet, sweet siesta.
4. Wendy Nguyen from Wendy's Lookbook would comment on one of my posts.
Can I get an Amen?
5. Dorman's wouldn't be closed by 9pm.
How am I supposed to indulge in some late night RVC?
No, really.. how?
I think I have that same blazer...cute outfit...I like the color of your bag :). RoRos World
ReplyDeleteNo way! I always get excited whenever someone has something that I also own. Twinsies :)
DeleteYou look good gal:)
ReplyDeleteI used to study in SA some years back. When I read you bought tights from Milady I was like ,Eish how now? Don't they just sell old women's attire there! For some strange reason that shop reminded me of old women's clothing - even got my first formal office blouse from there, yikes I'm old :-/ Anyway I guess they trendy now
Anyhoo your boyfriend jacket is to die for. Would you know a place in Nairobi where the sell them? I saw a look where this lady paired hers with a nice mini and tucked in blouse, I fell in love with the look and now on you, aargh I need to get me this jacket
Hey Vee!
DeleteHaha, I think Milady's is definitely a store meant for elderly women.. I was just looking for some black tights and glanced in and saw these so picked them up!
I got one from Ngara about a month back for about KES800 - it's the one I'm wearing in my LWD post. I don't have a specific place I go to and I'm really looking for a white blazer. Because the fitting of the one I got in Ngara is so good, I'm contemplating having a white one made but need to look for a gd tailor!
Sorry I couldn't be of much help. I do think a good fitting blazer is a staple though so good luck finding one!
loving the simplicity:)
ReplyDeleteBTW I'd like to ask if you've ever imported your jewellery,if you have is it easy and cheap to clear at the ports(kenyan ports) or its complicated
thanks :)
DeleteI've never really had anything delivered to me from outside Kenya - sorry I can't help you with that!
