I wonder whether bloggers like Gary Pepper from Gary Pepper Vintage and Karla from Karla's Closet took posing classes.. Or if they were/are models.. Their pictures always look very natural and stunning! Always perfect.
I always struggle with my pictures and yet I'd like to share more outfit posts with y'all. They always seem unnatural!
Any tips on how to make them more fun/classic?
Remember the plain white shirt I talked about HERE?
Well here's how it turned out..
Brown singlet - Mr. Price,
Shorts - can't remember name of store
White shirt - second hand market (only Shs50!)
Belt - Mr. Price
Sandals - Woolworths
Sunglasses - Aldo
Let's ignore the split ends featured in this photo
So do you find it difficult posing for pictures, especially when other people take the picture? And do you have any tips?
I'm the same way haha! I love this post! Great blog!

Yeah let's hope we all find our 'natural and stunning' poses soon enough!
Deleteoh i know exactly what you mean! wish i knew how they do it..you still look gorgeous regardless!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI think I'll just stalk their blogs until I find the answer. And when I do, trust me, I'll be sharing it with you :)
definitely find it hard. I should really have a day where I just spend an hour taking photographs of myself and seeing what works. I guess mimicing others is another way to go.
ReplyDeleteYeah but we can't just copy what they do, that'll still be unnatural! I think practice makes perfect so I bet that hour will help loads. I'll be working on mine too!
Deletelove the pictures , and this is such a cute casual outfot , you look great xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Maphi :)
Deletei love pictures, (being photographed in that sense:) but i also do run out of poses hehe, sometime's i'd look at fashion magazine and copy poses but i don't feel comfortable doing it because they're model's poses. i like keeping it natural but beautiful :) you're doing fine with your poses, i think more photo sessions would bring perfection :)

It's very comforting to know that there are quite a few people who feel the same way! And I totally agree, I'm all for finding your own style and what makes you comfortable when taking photos..
DeleteHaving more photo sessions would definitely help though :)
